The second release by Galoppierende Zuversicht, the live-project by Styro2000 and Bang goes, after the successful Basta EP. Another three distorted tracks, which were produced during studio sessions on analog live-equipment without any re-edits or digital re-arrangements. These tracks on vinyl anti- cipate a live situation and differ very much from the usual minimal productions as they are done at the time. The tracks have a euphoric character, push imperceptible and mediative into the deepness of the dancefloor.
This is also reflected by the names of the tracks:
Erdschruber means ground mob – to poach up the ground. Klumpknolle is a lump of tuber – and could be the disentangle of the rhizome.
Finally, Kirschknolle is an unknown poisonous mushroom, that takes over control...

Dear listener, we welcome you with a casual „faked.info“ and are very pleased to announce, that we succeeded in ending a long period of bad weather with our new ep on Bruchstuecke. Here it is, our second release as „faked.info“. You‘re invited to play fast and loose with our name and accuse us of producing groundless Dubtechno. Throughout many years we‘ve always aimed at preserving the good old Berlin tradition of SLOW ACID! It is our wish to satisfy our custumers and respect by personal contact and sales. We also would like to take advantage of this press release and mention that we have more products to showcase.

It’s my first ep... A first mix of lots of differents things I like in music.
First, I look for sounds - in fact there is often no need to look for: I just try to keep somewhere the sounds I meet, the sounds I like: noises and voices taken from films, guitar riffs I stole to my friends, samples, even the lyrics of «a drug for horses» is taken from the t-shirt of an australian dj I met, but don’t remember his name. It’s a endless work of selection, I love to do.
Then I try to give a groove to these alien elements: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s the state of the loop and I think it‘s why I like minimal music... making and listening to the loops, finding a good one, moving from one to another.

The tracktitles of this EP stand for musical memories about magical places in present and childhood. „Hasenmatt“ is a viewpoint in Switzerland and a funky tune of far acid with crystal-like sounds. A wide cavesystem in the swiss jura is called „Nidleloch“ and is a deep, mystical track with a simple melody. The idiom voice over a minimal structure of sounds in „Bärner Oberland“ tells an old poem, written by Konrad Albert Loosli. This track was first released on the compilation „10 years of Vision“, documenting the legendary Vison Festival in different locations up in the alps.

The compilation „Music for children“ is a project by friends with it‘s own story. The idea was by chica Paula of the label Ruta5: „I love to listen to music with my daughter Romina, but we didn‘t feel like listening to this oldstyled produtions for children. Romina loves electonic music very much - so why don‘t we make modern music for our children?“ After years of intense club- and partyculture, most of the involved artists have now own children, or they are familiar with the needs threw the children of their friends. The compilation tries to combine these two quite opposite ways of living. The tracks use sounds from little music boxes, melodies of children songs or the voice of a baby. So they create a sound of intimate elation and harmony, they switch between minimal electronica and naive meldody. „The customs of listening have changed by children too. Musicians like Debussy or Satie worked intense on music for children - maybe to explore their own fantasy or to satisfy their urge to play and the child in their own.“

Cabo San Roque are eight people from Barcelona, who play acoustic music on self-built instruments. Most instruments are made out of rubbish. Luciano met these people, was fascinated by the sound and atmosphere of their music and promised them to make a remix. This is how the project came to Bruchstuecke. In spite of the fact that the original music is quite the opposite of electronic music the Membrillo EP fits pefectly to the idea of Bruchstuecke Records: open the range of electronic music. On the sleeve you see a can of quince cream, subserving as a guitar.

This release is hard to understand for those few, who don‘t speak the swiss german dialect fluently. That‘s one reason why this release is limited to 500 copies....
The track on the logo-side features the legendary „Spider“ in Zurich. An afterhour club that was shut down by a massive police raid last year. The track is called „11am“ and Styro2000 captures the atmosphere at the end of a club night. Or the end of a club. „Why don‘t you go on? Why do you shut down? Did the police come? Where do we go now?“ the female voice is asking. Then the track spirals slowly but surely into weird afterhour music. The B-Side is based on a Punch and Judy radioplay, the voices being sort of a national treasure of childhood for the small and tall kids born and raised in these parts. But the rearrangement of the sampled voices leads to an alltogether different meaning of the story. It‘s no longer a children‘s fairytale, but an absurd trip into drug users attitudes and slang. You can call it an ironic mirror, a joke on club behaviour.

Die patinnen teil II (aka the godmothers part II ) are a female DJ- and producer team from Hamburg since 1997. Donna Neda and Donna Maya are producing a kind of film-inspired music, which doesn‘t follow the usual style of clubtracks. They merge different styles and sounds into little sound dramas. On Bruchstuecke 11 they release four songs with sound fragments from a journey threw Bulgaria, samples from an old speech record - found in an american flea market - and pieces from sesseions with musicians in Hamburg.

The 10th release of Bruchstuecke doesn’t feature its own story and its „homeproducers“ mostly from Switzerland. Bruchstuecke 10 immerses into soundscapes of people, who have supported and shown interest for the label in the last three years. Bruchstuecke 10 releases tracks of these producers, which were not selected for their own EP’s, went somehow lost.
Janovsky vs Scheben cut 360 bassdrums together, never repeating a single one and break with the soundlayout of Treibstoff. Move D discovered in his Source-Records archive a forgotten piece of melodic swing. Andy Vaz releases its minimum sound variations around a draft, which he resumes on Sound_Variation 4. Thomas Brinkmann alienates
Nina Simone’s cover version of a Jacques Brel classic into a painful version by destroying the original and creating aera for a new interpretation of an old feeling. Miguel Navas, a young producer from Bogota/Columbia, publishes finally on this Potlatch EP his first track ever. Potlatch is „a pre-columbian market system without money, in which gifts were answered with gifts“. Without this principle – the exchange of tendencies and confidenceness, interests and contacts far away from financial interests – a small independent label like Bruchstuecke could hardly exist.

„I remember very clearly that everything starts because of the swing of life...... On that moment I was in a really special mood of my life, it was the birth of my little girl Lilou Swan who gave me light...... The present was my only certitude. All the purpose of beeing a person who could take care of the most pure little details on the planet was on my hands...... and it’s a different attitude ..... more compromise, less time and forget yourself for a moment and start to think in somebody else. I started to compose with my mind very clear, my ideas were close to reality and iIcould express myself in
a peacefull way. Absence of information is the most interesting state in the human being ..... just empty ..... opened to any reception of your environment! Imitating the world ...... Babies show us as good and as bad it could be. .... so maybe the only thing that I would love to leave behind me are babies and music.....!!! I don't know where to start and where to stop - so maybe I should stay in simplicity.....“

The Puzzle is on the table and the table ist too small. First you have to find the pieces on the edges and along the borderline. Orange-brown pieces of minihouse and pink pieces in techno-color will form a shape of the growing image. As soon you see the structure, the form of each piece becomes meaning: Alarm has a sharp-edged line. Rexona is more funny. Unhase is the piece, which never fits, because of its border are too clear. Springroll is the joker-piece: It fits everywhere , if you push hard enough. The colour of the pieces are a little bit cool and were postproduced with the photoshop delay- plugin. At the end of the game, there’s one piece left. A mistake in fabrication? Music for thousand and one puzzles.

This is the second release by bang goes on Bruchstuecke. The Picknick EP is kind of a strange summer plate with four different foods for your ears: funky chicken salad as starter, a12 feels like Ozio in a hurry. a13 tastes the smell of sweet memories, taken from the Raymond Scott archive in 1962: „of course I miss her! It was a night like this and she wore „romance“ - I believe it was by Christian Dior.“ b13 invites with a touch of bossanova to a low fat breakfast, garnished with a silly minihouse hookline. And finally, there are sounds from an original swiss alp. The milkman as a dj-tool.

The Stiel EP is thought as an organic proccess of the flower EP (bruchstuecke 04, released last summer). The Tracks swing with +/- 120 bpm, fucusing different perspectives on the place of the deed of action: the club.

The second release on bruchstuecke records by Styro2000, one of the most experienced DJ, producer and live-act from Zurich. With his first release he achieved wide attention for his style of techno: A dry bassdrum with strange sounds and swinging shuffles.
