For their fifth release Todd Bodine (Highgrade, Treibstoff, Mothership) joined the cologne based Label Klangfarbe Schallplatten and created a high-quality EP, which is hard to find today.
„Duplexer“ (A1) initially allocates with Bongos in space, to furthermore stabilize itself with more bass, percussion and volume, which leads into a durable, massive flow that´s willing to persist bigger club duties as well.
„Alpha“ (B2) is structurized akin to „Duplexer“, but celebrates the true force, the true might of Minimal by the use of consistently repetition of beat- and sound patterns as also psychedelic Acid-parts in good, old Plastikman tradition.
„Morning Breeze“ on B2 finally starts warmer and more housy, in a deep and easy Lean-Back manner, to distinctly cool down after a while and to approach the previous tracks.
After all, the „From Nowhere To Somewhere EP“ constitutes an extremely coherent EP, where it´s obvious, that all three tracks mate together – as they are.

Klangfarbe again! After a creative break last year and after releasin´ KLA03 in december 2009 here´s the next tune! Finally two new tracks of the label manager, producer and DJ-Team “Tandem”, remixed by “Sweet´N´Candy” and “John Lagora”. “Laid Back” is definetely the best track of their career so far. Contemporary, anyhow with their own, very special deepness, “Tandem” delivers a groover with a massive bassline and swingin´ hammond. “Sweet´N´Candy” aka Rico Henschel (Opossum, Dumb Unit, EinMalEins from Berlin picks just that up and emblazes it with freaky samples and warm chords. After doin´ a remix on KLA01, “Sweet´N´Candy” is showin´ again that his music simply fits to “Tandem”s. Consequentially he´s also in charge with doin´ the whole upcoming EP (KLA05) early this summer! A little bit darker with futuristic electro sounds: “Melted Pot”, sizzlin´ forward. “Tandem” shows their darker, more technoid side, which represents their DJ-Sets and earlier productions as well. John Lagora from Oberhausen (Material Series, Frequenza Records, Fortek) batches this track with a craggy bassline and slicin´ hi-hats, creatin´ a gloomy room, to surprise with new sounds on every edge, in every corner.

For “Them van” HOLGER BRAUNS & TIM WAGNER created a full tonal response, consequently built up of a pumping, drifty bass line, groovy summer tunes and melodious samples with unexpected harmonies. This will surely make the crowd move!

PATRICK ZIGON´s remix convinces by using elements of the original on a deeper sub-bass, adding some fluffy, syncopated or freaky samples to bring off a new, different atmosphere.

The strong bass and bouncing percussions on MOSS BART & MARCO PARENTI´s “Sick Up” fuse to a fresh rhythm of Peak-Time-Techno before they pass into a wonderful melodious part in the end. “Juste au milieu” starts with atmospheric natural sounds and string elements to then bring you to the floor with deep base elements.
